New on-demand networks rely more and more on open source components. As a result, service provider must be engaged in key open source projects to influence their requirements. Most of service providers have just started to contribute to various networking open source communities.
But is it complex ? How to start with ? How to survive in this new environment ?
Orange is very involved in a large number of projects (OPNFV, ONAP, ODL, CloudFoundry, OpenStack, Acumos...) and decided to become an actor with a large number of contributors.
This session will provide best-practices to explain how to contribute not only on code, but also on tests/documentation/platform support...
