Orange started the SDN/NFV journey using many open source solutions. First VNF are deployed in different affiliates and Orange would like to share the main lessons learnt for the first deployments both on technical level (security, integrations with infra, OSS) and organisation level (new process using more automation).
Based on first deployments using a learning approach, Orange identified key topics to be solved and will present how the open source projects may solve the major integration painpoints (NFVI certification, VNF certification, OSS integration...) while the ecosystem stll suffers from global skills.
