Content and IoT deliveries by FANG has changed the competition landscape, and with eSIM/vCPE, the subscriber ownership will change as well. In order to grow further CSPs need to transform themselves from being just a Connection Provider to a Platformer, offering any service, over any access type, using one of the network slices, accessible from any device, and from any location - fixed or mobile.

This presentation builds the concept of Platformers from the last 03 industrial revolutions to the past 03 decades, and connects the dots from five technologies (NFV, SDN, CUPS, MEC, and Network Slicing) and five standards (ETSI, IETF, IEEE, LFN, and OCP), to deliver five services (eMBB, mMTC, uRLLC, IaaS and HD Voice) in an animated slide.
