Container changes the world, but does it change everything? This presentation will explain the gaps between VNF virtual machines and VNF containers with various open source projects' help for VNF developers. It is not just easy thing to changing software itself from virtual machines to containers due to the difference of software archtecture. There are various considerations for changing virtual machine VNF to container VNF, such as up-to-date containers' network infrastructure (e.g. multiple network interfaces in kubernetes), configuration framework for users, metering for container operators and container infrastructure itself which interworks with VNF containers. This presentation will traverse these things with various open souce projects' help (i.e. OPNFV, Kubernetes and so on) to make your container VNF feasible to cloud native environment.
