A major driving factor of open source software is creating industry standards through implementations. We have taken this a step further by launching the OPNFV Verified compliance verification program earlier this year. With the formation of the Linux Foundation Networking (LFN) project, OPNFV Verified acts as blueprint, technically and in terms of governance, for further compliance programs in LFN, for instance for ONAP or OpenDaylight.

In this presentation, we will talk about our efforts of establishing a coordination body in LFN, the Compliance Verification Committee, which aligns the compliance programs in LFN. We will give an overview of the 2nd release of OPNFV Verified and outline the scope of the upcoming compliance program for ONAP. Finally, we will present the OPNFV Dovetail project which develops the technical foundation for a common test and reporting framework.
