The exponential growth is network complexity is old news. More use cases, more real time and on-demand, more components are used to comprise each service as Telco moves to VM, and Containers (microservices, Functions are around the corner). Human response time and humans ability to comprehend in real time, these complex environments are challenged. Operators have some urgent needs: higher agility, faster application development and deployment, optimized total cost of ownership, optimized infrastructure utilization, best visibility/trace-ability etc. ML is expected to help. Standards and PoCs start to evolve: e.g. what does ETSI ENI do to address these and other challenges? How will the new ML functionality interact with MANO? Orchestration? Infrastructure? Is "Intent based Networking" related to ML? When will ML be available? What are the industry latest ML developments and more....
