5G, All in Container ? - Xuan Jia, China Mobile

How container is going in the standard organization ? Will container satisfy all the requirement for 5G ? In this session, i will answer both questions.

1. ETSI NFV & ETSI MEC is using OpenStack as the fundamental architecture. China Mobile and other telecoms are doing a lot of efforts on it. But now Container has been widely used in IT industry. It effects the standard organization. I will list the newest information about container in ETSI NFV, 3GPP, IMT-2020 , ONAP and so on. For example, the white paper of IMT-2020 shows that 5G will be deployed by container technology.
2. China Mobile is doing the PoC let 5G-C run in container. I will show it up in this session.
3. The topic about container is so popular, but container has its own problem to fulfill the requirement of 5G-C and 5G-RAN. I will show the requirement and give the conclusion.
