ONAP is bringing the world’s operators together to collaboratively innovate and solve some of the most common challenges they face on their journey to automated and intelligent networks. With 65% of the world's mobile subscribers now participating in ONAP, and many undergoing trials, there is lots of momentum behind this open networking project. However, there are plenty of end users who are still critical about the stability, usability (particularly for tier 2 service providers and enterprises) and production-readiness of the ONAP code base. This panel will seek to highlight the progress made in the Beijing release, the work that is being undergone for the Casablanca release, as well as various models that service providers have been undertaking to leverage production-ready components of ONAP.
