Abhijit is the Chair of the OpenDaylight Technical Steering Committee. He is also a member of Linux Foundation Networking (LFN) Technical Advisory Council (TAC) and Strategic Planning Committee. He has been active in OpenDaylight from its inception and the project lead (PTL) for the OpenFlow Plugin project. He is technical lead for Ericsson SDN/NFVi open source efforts and is Principal Architect & System Manager in the Technology department for Ericsson's Cloud unit. In the past he had been an active member at the Open Networking Foundation (ONF) and has contributed to and evangelized the main table type pattern at the ONF member workdays. He has extensive experience in networking software development as well as leading teams toward successful outcomes. Prior to joining Ericsson he was the Director, Software R&D at IBM (System Networking). He is an alumnus of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur.
