Faiz has more than 16 years of experience in consulting, design, implementation, and support of telecom networks. He specialize in wireless and fixed broadband with expertise on network convergence and evolution towards 5G, enabling smooth migration of OpCos from hardware locked CSPs to Platform Providers.
Faiz is able to apply ETSI NFV framework together with OPNFV and ONF, and map them to 5th generation of service oriented cloud native architecture, with end-end Network Slicing, CUPS and MEC. He is currently responsible for managing and steering the creation of architectural guidelines and blueprints related to Liberty Global access network platforms, including those supporting residential services and B2B across Europe.
Faiz holds a MSc in Mobile & High-speed Telecom Networks from Oxford Brookes, and MBA in Sustainable Businesses from University of Bologna.
