Pantelis Monogioudis

Bio: Pantelis Monogioudis, received his undergraduate degree in Electronics Engineering with Highest Honors from the school of Technological Educational Institute of Athens in 1989. As a scholar of the State Scholarship Foundation he graduated with an MSc in Telematics and a PhD in Wireless communications from the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Surrey in 1991 and 1994 respectively. Pantelis has a long history of leadership in the field that combines wireless communications and computer science. Over the years he has lead projects in a wide range of quantitative fields as part of Philips Research, Lucent Technologies, Bell Labs and various startups. More recently he is working for Nokia on 5G, AI/ML and Self-Driving Cars as a Director of AI Systems and Simulation, Murray Hill NJ. Pantelis has received two Bell Labs Presidential awards, Distinguished Member of Tech Staff award and has coauthored tens of patents and publications.
