Vimal has been with AT&T for more than 30 years. Vimal has been the lead architect for AT&T ECOMP / ONAP since their inception, focusing on meta-data driven product and service independent platform architecture. In addition, Vimal is an active participant in xRAN consortium to standardize critical elements of the 5G network and their management framework. Prior to ECOMP, Vimal led AT&T’s Service Assurance Operation Support Systems (OSS) architecture team, focusing on Data Collection and Analysis, driving network and customer care automation.
